This workshop is ONLINE, LIVE, AND MEETS THE SPECIALIZED CONDITIONS SET FORTH BY APT. All trainings are taught by Laura Hutchison, PsyD, LP, RPT-S.

This presentation will review the some of the many ways individuals can identify - such as racial, cultural, religious, economic, gender, sexual/romantic preference, learning ability & style, ability level, and body size. A sensitive discussion will be held to highlight the impact on growth and mental health being in the majority or minority of these identities can have - and how as play therapist we can help assist all our clients.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Summarize at least 5 ways one can identify and how it may surface in play therapy.
2. Differentiate between identity majority and minority, as well as understand how this is impacted through play therapy.
3. Identify ways to help clients explore their personal identity in play therapy.
